Everyone has a Story to their Beginning

"I let go of my limited mindset and open my mind  to unlimited potential of what is possible"

This is my story

I grew up in India, where I was surrounded by many different beliefs, expectations, traditions, and ideas about relationships, marriage, and the roles of men and women.

I questioned things around me, I never voiced it though. Those questions stayed with me for years.

My curiosity eventually led me to study Psychology in India. While pursuing my Master’s degree, counseling struck my fancy, and I naturally leaned toward studying marital relationships. I never liked seeing couples struggle with conflict or disconnection. That interest became strong enough that I chose marital adjustment as the topic for my PhD research. I was fascinated by people, their stories, their emotions, and what was happening beneath the surface.

When I moved to the United States, I never pursued Psychology professionally. Like many people, I went through different life transitions and challenges, personal and professional and over time, that chapter of my academic path felt like it had been left behind.

Then came COVID. It became a turning point in my life.

One sunny morning, I was sitting on a couch looking outside my big window at the water with sun rays falling on it making it glitter, surrounded by lush greenery, feeling uncertain and thinking what is in the future for me now.

Those moments continued for days. As I reflected on my life, something I can only describe as a lightning-bolt moment of clarity.

Psychology came back into focus. Or as I like to say, the Universe brought me back to it.

After years away from the field, I found myself returning to psychology, relationships, and human behavior with renewed purpose and intention. I became a Certified Relationship Coach and Life Coach. The challenges in marriage and dating made me curious to learn, and that strong desire to better myself made me immerse into studying relationships. I became obsessed and buried myself in books and various courses that I took from Psychologists and Relationship experts.

That decision transformed my personal and professional life. I truly believe God gave me this gift for a purpose, and I wanted to honor it.

My work is not only professional,  it is also deeply personal. After 16 years of marriage, getting into the dating world in midlife opened me to a whole new world. It was unfamiliar, emotional, challenging, and eye-opening. I struggled, I questioned, and I learned.

That experience gave me a deeper understanding of what many people go through in long-term relationships, separation, divorce, dating again, and midlife transitions especially the emotional complexity that comes with them.

It also pushed me inward. Before I could guide others, I needed to understand myself more deeply.

I strongly believe in leading by example. This path has also taught me resilience. I aspire to lead as a positive example in order to illuminate the way to follow for the younger generation like my nieces and nephew and everyone out there.

Even during chemotherapy and radiation, I did not stop learning, writing, and supporting others because this work gave me purpose and meaning. It reminded me that even in difficult times, growth and contribution are still possible. It is never too late to do what you love.

Life is a gift to us. So I choose to make the best of it.

Meditation and art became part of my healing journey. Learning to take responsibility for my patterns, understanding my emotional responses, and becoming more honest with myself transformed me in ways I did not expect. That inner work became the foundation of how I support others today.

Today, my mission is to help people create healthier, more fulfilling relationships. I help people understand their patterns, communication styles, emotional challenges, and relational dynamics so they can begin to create healthier ways of connection.

Being born and raised in India and now living in the United States has given me an understanding of both worlds. It allows me to bring cultural awareness and versatility to my work and support people from different backgrounds with awareness and sensitivity.

I believe we reinvent ourselves many times throughout life.

For me, helping people build healthier relationships feels like my calling in the second half of my life. My assignment from the universe, as I see it, is to ask thought-provoking questions, to create awareness, to support healthier and more fulfilling relationships.

If my story resonates with you and you are navigating relationship challenges, personal growth, dating, marriage, or life transitions, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
